]]> Artinus 3D Art Museum is an interactive art gallery, which gives it visitors a truly wonderful experience in the magic of 3D. This museum has more than 100 different 3D paintings, created by Korean artists. The artworks are created in a way that the visitors can step inside them and be part of some stunning 3D scenes.

You will be amazed by all the optical illusions on display and surely have the chance of taking many pictures which will blow your friends’ minds. You can be trapped in a bottle, fight with a dragon and much more. Among the nine zones are the wildlife world, ancient Egypt, Renaissance art, Oceans and, of course, Vietnam. The Artinus 3D Art Museum is not overcrowded and therefore gives its visitors the time to enjoy the art and take pictures at their leisure.

To have enough time to see and experience the whole museum, you should typically allow yourself around two or three hours. The entrance fee is VND 260,000 (US$ 11.50) on weekdays and VND 300,000 (US$ 13.50) during the weekend. Access is free for children under 90cm, while those over that height are respectively charged VND 200,000 (US$ 9) or VND 260,000 (US$ 11.50).

]]> Alexandre Yersin, the French medical pioneer, is well remembered in Vietnam, where he was affectionately called “Ông Năm“. Surprisingly and as a sign of the deep respect the Vietnamese have for him, following the country’s independence, streets named in his honour kept their designation, and his tomb in Suoi Dau was graced by a pagoda where rites are performed. His house in Nha Trang is now the Yersin Museum.

At the museum visitors can get an idea of the work of Yersin. He founded Dalat, discovered a vital plague-causing bacterium, and researched agricultural methods and meteorological forecasting, all to the great benefit of the Vietnamese. Yersin arrived in Nha Trang in 1891 and dedicated the rest of his life to scientific discovery from his laboratory here, until his passing away in 1943. He founded the institute in 1895. On display are his desk, a rich library and his scientific instruments.
